My Journey

In 2021, I arrived in Canada with years of corporate experience and big dreams. On paper, I had it all – stellar qualifications, a proven track record and the drive to succeed. But like so many immigrants, I quickly learned that the Canadian job market is played by different rules.

The first few months were a humbling blur of rejection emails and deafening silence from employers. My savings dwindled to almost nothing. I spent my mornings and evenings sending out applications into what felt like a void. The question that kept me up at night was: “Did I make a mistake coming to Canada?”

That’s when I realized something had to change. If the traditional job search methods weren’t working, I needed to understand why.
